Currently, I'm a 4th year medical student with a passion for educating and being educated. Before COVID-19, I would frequent the gym and other activities with people I like to call my second family. Getting to where I am now has not been easy and I have gone through my fair share of ups and downs, but I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and have tried to use all my past obstacles as lessons to work on myself and improve every single day. As I know of the many struggles at hand for someone who moves away from their family at a very young age, I spend my time trying to help others acclimate to the drastic change and make it just a bit easier if possible.
One of the many reasons I love to teach and mentor is to see that moment in their eyes when all the different factors come in together and their mental light bulb finally turns on and they are able to pass that knowledge to the younger years later.
